Nomad Seat Stops
This project came out of an immediate need I had to stop the rattling in the back seat of our '55 Nomad.
I started with a stock seat latch cover, followed the general shape and dimensions, and improved the original design with a much more robust way of securing the seat.
My original prototype was honed out in 2016 using a Bridgeport manual mill and dykem. The finished design is CNC machined for a precise fit and beautiful finish.
Nomad Cargo Trim
After replacing all of the carpet in the Nomad, the last thing I wanted to do was actually load anything in the back of the car and risk getting my new carpet dirty.
Rather than not using my car as intended, I came up with a better solution... The rear cargo trim idea.
This aluminum track is custom drilled for the original Nomad floor trim's mounting holes, then beautifully hand polished and finished with slick bullet ends.
The slightly raised profile of the track not only protects the carpet, but provides a secure and flexible way to carry cargo in your Nomad without the worry of damage to your interior.
